We’re proud to highlight one of our very talented instructors, Paul Danner! Not only is Paul one of our amazing instructors, but he is also a Rosedale Tech Alumni.
Danner, also known as Scanner Danner to his many followers on Youtube, has been instructing students at Rosedale Technical College in Engine Performance Diagnostics and Basic Electrical Systems for the last 16 years.
We are so proud to have Paul has part of the Rosedale Tech family, but that’s not all that keeps him busy! Twelve years ago he opened a mobile diagnostics business which performs electrical and electronic diagnostic services for over twenty garages in the South Hills of Pittsburgh.
His breadth of knowledge and experience has helped achieve great success in garages all over the greater Pittsburgh area. Even with all his work locally, he continues to share unique insights with his students not only in the classroom, but with his many followers on YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook.
Those followers are no small matter, either. This video about fuel pump electrical circuit diagnosis has been viewed almost 100,000 times!
Danner is an ASE L1 Certified Master Technician with twenty-four years of field experience in electronic, electrical, and drivability diagnostics. As an instructor, he has helped prepare many students for future careers in the automotive industry.

Danner also offers a field manual called “Engine Performance Diagnostics” that is available for purchase at on his website. This book can “keep you from falling into that “parts-changer” mentality,” according to Danner’s website.
