HEAR FROM STUDENTS OF ROSEDALE
Before Rosedale, I was working as a waitress, and at the time I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my future. I’ve tried working in a pharmacy [and] soldering wires. The one thing I noticed about those jobs is that I enjoyed working with my hands. Once the pandemic hit I lost my job and I knew I had to make a decision about my future and I looked up technical schools and colleges near me, and that’s how I found Rosedale. I had a love for cars and how they looked cosmetically so I made the decision that collision repair was right for me, and it was! What stuck out to me about Rosedale was the atmosphere and their amazing support for women working in the trades. I decided to not go down a 4-year traditional college path because none of the majors I looked into were right for me. Life before Rosedale was not as easy and enjoyable as it is now during and after Rosedale. Having a degree and a job where I can work a better schedule, make more money, and live independently now. I’m able to go on awesome vacations and enjoy life without having to worry.
