Why Electrical Training?

According to the US Department of Labor (Bureau of Labor Statistics)*, “job opportunities should be excellent for qualified workers with an associate’s degree in electronics along with certifications.” Electricians graduating from Rosedale Tech have the opportunity to work in everything from the energy fields, on commercial conveyor systems as well as in the fields of commercial and residential wiring. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics Electrical Technicians will earn an average of $29.90/hour or $62,190 annually.

Why Rosedale for Electrical Training?

Our Electrical students have the opportunity to receive hands on training in the fields of commercial and residential wiring. They also have the opportunity to participate in OSHA safety training, and scissor lift training. A Diploma is awarded upon graduation.

What Equipment Do I Get To Work With?

The Electrical Shop area contains an indoor two story framed house. The first floor is used for residential wiring and the second floor is used for commercial wiring.

There are multiple labs throughout the electrical department for the following courses:

  • State of the art Mechatronics Unit (commercial conveyor simulator)
  • Low voltage
  • Commercial Circuitry
  • Electronic Machine Control
  • Programmable Logic Controllers
