Why Welding?

Welders have the ability to work in a range of industries. According to the BLS (Bureau of Labor Statistics) “the basic skills of welding are similar across industries, so welders can easily shift from one industry to another.” The job outlook for welders is good, with a projected employment of 412,300 welding jobs in 2024, however, welders without up to date training may face strong competition for jobs. Welders are expected to earn an average of $18.94/hour or $39,390 annually*.
