Why Welding?

Welders have the ability to work in a range of industries. According to the BLS (Bureau of Labor Statistics) “the basic skills of welding are similar across industries, so welders can easily shift from one industry to another.” The job outlook for welders is good, with 424,700 welding jobs filled in 2018. However, welders without up to date training may face strong competition for jobs. Welders are expected to earn an average of $19.89/hour or $41,380 annually*.
